A person who is overcoming odds right now is Nadya Suleman because she has six children plus her new octuplets. She has no home of her own but she lives with her mother and father in southern California. She has no job except for a disability check for 14 children. The children have no father but all come from a sperm donor. She says that she only gets to spend about 45 minutes with the infants. She also plans to go back to college and finish her bachelor’s degree and hopefully get a job after that. Her parents think that this was the stupidest idea because now she is living on their retirement and does not accept any welfare payments. But ever since she was a child all she wanted to be was a mother. Now she had become a mother of 14 children who she may or may not be able to support.

The bachelor season 2008- 2009 had the most dramatic ending. The bachelor Jason Mesnick was the last guy on the last Bachelorette season but got rejected by DeAnna Pappas. The bachelor had gotten a chance to get his own show. He had gone through the whole thing about eliminating each girl and picked Melissa Rycroft at the final rose ceremony. But Jason had decided that it was not working out between them and wanted to end their relationship on national TV. He had wanted to break up with Melissa and then talk to Molly the other final contestant next to Melissa. He had done all this during the After the Rose Show. He had broken Molly’s heart before but she still went and said okay to him after hearing the couples break up. He had ended it with Melissa and she had been very furious with him. He and Molly are still dating to the day. This bachelor’s love had been up and down all his life because first he had been married to someone and has a son named Ty. He also was on the Bachelorette with DeAnna and got rejected and on his bachelor show he had decided Melissa was not the one.

In this movie change is one of the biggest factors. The main character in this movie is Shivaji Rao (Anil Kapoor). He was in an interview with the Chief Minister of his state via live broadcast. During the interview he asks the Chief Minister many questions that result in making him in trouble because he had been corrupt and misleading the state into tough times. Since this was on national television the Chief Minister says “why don’t you stand in my shoes for 24 hours”. Shivaji takes the offer after a lot of cheering from the crowd and the staff members. When Shivaji is Chief Minister he is to change a lot of things about the government and the way the state works. His work had led him to do many great things like give the poor their housing that government officials have taken, fires all the corrupt people including the chief minister, helps the poor with the groceries. He gets relected but while he was getting re elected he lost his mother and father. He became the best Chief Minister of the state.

In the book night the Jewish people are strong believers throughout the holocaust. For example the main character Elizer Wiesel was very interested in learning more about his culture. He had been a devoted boy because he went to the synagogue frequently before the Germans took the Jews away. He has studied the religious books. Elizer had a strong bond with god this made him survive through the Holocaust. He had always prayed and stayed connected with god even after all of the Jews were treated badly and they had been through the hardest things of life because of a political tyrant. The Jews during the holocaust did not have that much faith in god because they believed that if god really was there the holocaust would not have happened. But Elizer kept praying and didn’t lose faith in god. His faith in god had helped him survive and his father with him by his side when all the other families had been separated.

In the Bollywood movie Welcome to Sajjanpur it shows the different gender roles and the male being more dominant. Sajjanpur is a small village in India where there is less industrial things and everything is done the old fashion way. The males are more capable of doing things. For example in this movie there is a mail guy who writes other people’s letters and reads them because they are less educated. The female get out of the house but they are mostly inside the house doing chores and taking care of their children. The only people that do have cars and motor bikes are the government officials. But the other ride on bicycles. The gender roles differe very much in this culture and society. Well one because they are not a very modern society and they are too old fashioned about things.

A culture that is way beyond explanation and different is the vampire culture from The Twilight Saga. From everything they do to the people that they talk to are very different. These vampires are all over the world. They have different covens and all of those vampires have different supernatural powers. In humans culture you eat, sleep, age as you grow and exercise. In a vampires world you don’t eat veggies but you either drink humans blood and if you are a Cullen who are all vegetarian meaning they eat animals. They don’t get their sleep, you are frozen at a certain age and you are extremely strong. As humans learn to be extra friendly, Vampires crave human blood and humans are their diet. It would be extremely hard to spend time with a vampire or even have one in a society. But as we humans die vampires live forever and ever unless they are burned by fire or sun.

My natural Disaster Blog is about the winter storm in Kentucky that lead to a more than half million power outages for 3 days. They didn’t have fresh water either. There were shelters all over the state. There were at least 21 deaths confirmed after the storm hit. This storm took place from Texas to Kentucky. The governor called 4,600 National Guard troops Saturday to deliver water, food and other supplies. They have to go door to door and cover 190 counties. After a few days the electricity was back for a few counties but less than a quarter million still don’t have any power. But on the bright side next weeks temperature is above forty which is still cold but some snow melting should be nice. Let’s just hope that these strong winds and ice storms don’t make their way up north. Schools and Universities have been cancelled for more than 3 days.Whippe 3 whole snow days!!

Rebutal against that woud ahve been fun! The 63 year old man talked for 5 starught days and four nights. The prvious record was held by an indian man who talked for 120 hours. I would have fallen asleep. Or i would be chantin about the chemistry book and get it into my head. Colet began on monday at a railway staion reciting the works of famous authors and painters he adored. Large crowds came to support him and finally he set the guiness book award for talking for 124 hours!

The basketball team that had a score of 100-nothing but the coach was still prud of them. He says they tried and tried and never gave up. The bulldogs have variety of people on the team the bulldogs have team members with a variety of learning problems. They play in hope of improving skills, learning teamwork and picking up watever life lesson athletics may bring. But the opposing team never said anything about how bad the team was. They say thier moto is "Competition with honor". At half time the other team scored 88-0. Bu the team has terrific players good defense but not fast enough to score a goal. Hmm intresting.
Daddy Long Legs is about a girl named Judy Abbott. She is from an orphanage called the John Grier home. She gets a chance to go to college because a trustee decides to give her a scholarship as she writes letters to him and becomes and author. Judy was never allowed to know about the trustee because he was going to be anonymous but she called him Daddy Long Legs. She later finds out that Daddy Long Legs is Jervis Pendelton who is her roommate’s uncle. I didn't like the end because i thought she was going to end up with Jimmie McBride who is her other roommate Sallie's brother who goes to Harvard and used to write letters to Judy. But at the end she ended up with Jervis Pendelton.
